smukme becomes sovamo
The new name fits better into the international growth aspirations of the brand, not just in the local Danish market.
Not just a new name, but a better way forward
With smukme we wanted to launch fast here in Denmark, and test to see if there is any interest for our solution. After a couple of years offering our services, we realized that this can become a much bigger thing that we have imagined initially, that’s why some changes have to be made to allow us to expand our platform.
Our brand name changes from smukme to sovamo, to better accomodate our international aspirations. We wanted a name that is easy to spell in many languages, and that also holds a hidden meaning. The new name, sovamo, is about taking action, trying new things, making a change. Vamo is a very common, casual, and sometimes colloquial shortening of the Spanish word vamos. It translates to “let’s go” or “we go / we are going”. In essence sovamo means, “so, let’s go”.
We are changing not only the name, but the entire technology behind our products. In the last couple of years we gathered valuable feedback from our customers and we are set on building the ultimate all-in-one digital platform for the beauty and wellness industry.
A fresh brand identity by VASUTIA Media!
The new name comes with a brand identity that reflects what we stand for and makes us remarkable among the competitors. At the core we kept the orange as brand color, but we replaced the old dark grey with a red wine color that provides a warm feel to the brand.
